Pain is conveyed through the piece, as the artist experienced childhood trauma due to extreme ugliness and being a certified wierdo. Much like this peel, the artist is just an empty shell of a man in a decaying world.

Representing the broken spirit after one more foregeful one night stand, this incomplete orage peel symoblizes the artist's shriveling phallus with a vitality that can no longer be retrieved. The shape evokes the experience of the artist with a flesh that is still vibrant and delectable and yet you can see it slowly deteriorating. This represents another installment in the artist's quest to find deeper meaning from the disposable items of the sweet nectar of life.
